    NOVEMBER SALES BREAK THROUGH 24,500 UNITS LEVEL
    During November, Kia sales reached a total of 24,571 units, 19% higher than the brand achieved that month in 2004. Kia´s top selling models for the month were Picanto (7,572 units delivered), heading the Sorento (3,425 sales), Sportage (3,352) and the New Rio, powering up to fourth place with 3,201 sales now the remarkable 1.5 diesel engine is available to boost this model´s appeal even further.   Read more

    KIA´S EUROPEAN PLANT STARTS TO TAKE SHAPE
    Construction of Kia Motors´ all-new car manufacturing facility, near the town of Zilina in Slovakia, is running ahead of schedule and the company´s first European plant is starting to take shape. At present 1,000 workers mostly from Slovakia, are working on site.   Read more

    KIA SALES SHOW 55% GROWTH OVER NINE MONTHS
    High demand across Europe for a broad range of Kia products during September, powered Kia sales up by 41% last month, to 30,528 vehicles. While the Picanto small car continues to be Kia´s biggest seller, with almost 10,000 customers in September (9,916 units), consumers found many other Kia models highly attractive. Sorento SUV sales totalled 4,266 units, followed by Sportage (3,679), the new Rio and Cerato - both boosted by diesel engine availability.   Read more

    KIA SALES RUNNING 58% ABOVE 2004 LEVELS
    Continuing high demand across Europe for Kia products during August, pushed Kia Motors sales up 36% last month to more than 18,000 vehicles in what is traditionally a ´quiet´ month for new car sales in the peak holiday season. Sales for the first eight months of 2005 reached almost 180,000 (178,006) units - 58% higher than the Kia brand achieved in same period of 2004.   Read more

    KIA SALES CLIMB 61% OVER SEVEN MONTHS
    Booming demand across Europe for its Picanto, Sorento, Sportage and Cerato models during July, pushed Kia Motors sales up 42% last month to almost 24,000 vehicles.     KIA MONTHLY SALES HIT ALL-TIME HIGH IN JUNE
    Kia sales in Europe reached an all-time high during June, with 28,748 units delivered - a rise of 53% compared to sales in June 2004. For the second successive month Kia sales set new record levels across the 28 countries comprising its European sales division, well above the company´s declared target of a ´50% annual rise rate´ and confirm Kia´s growing status as a major automotive brand.   Read more

    JD Power confirms Kia´s rapid gains in vehicle quality
    An influential annual survey of new automobiles has confirmed Kia´s rapid gains in vehicle quality. The 2005 JD Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) reports two significant developments for Kia - a 13-point improvement overall, across its model range and a 64-point gain for the new C-Segment Cerato (Spectra) which was rated second most improved car of 2005. The IQS ranks vehicles by recording ´problems per 100 units´.   Read more

    KIA SALES IN EUROPE JUMP 78% IN APRIL

    KIA´S SALES SUCCESS CONTINUES THROUGHOUT EUROPE IN MARCH
    Kia Motors Europe has today announced that strong sales across Europe in March means the brand´s success story continues to grow. Total sales for March reached an all-time high of 26,532 units, an 86% increase on the same period in 2004 and 9% ahead of Kia´s expectations.     ALL-TIME HIGH SALES FOR KIA IN JANUARY
    Kia has announced all-time high January sales across Europe, with 15,960 vehicles delivered to retail customers compared to just 10,286 last year - a 55% leap in demand. The Picanto small car launched in mid-2004 continues to attract a host of new customers to the Kia brand, while demand for the established Carnival MPV and Sorento SUV is still growing.     KIA RIO WINS ICE RACING TROPHY - AGAIN !
    For the second year in a row, a Team Kia driver has won the spectacular Andros Trophy ice racing championship in France, while Kia claimed the constructors´ championship for the first time, with nine wins from 12 races. Yvan Muller´s successful partnership with Kia began last year when he piloted the single Kia Rio entry to victory in the 2004 Andros Trophy.
