(Seoul) November 10, 2009 – Three weeks before the Final Draw is made for next year’s FIFA World CupTM competition (in Cape Town on Friday 4 December), Kia Motors Corporation announces the launch of its online competition for the chance to win a full hospitality package for two people at the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.

Kia’s ‘Final Draw Prediction Game’ challenges participants to predict the outcome of the 20-plus play-off matches being held during the second half of November and how the 32 qualifying teams will be split into their eight tournament groups.

The play-off matches give so-far-unqualified teams from all around the world – such as France, Russia, Cameroon, Egypt, Togo and New Zealand – a last chance to secure one of the nine places remaining in the 2010 FIFA World Cup South AfricaTM.

After the Final Draw is made, one Grand Prize winner will be selected by Kia to receive full hospitality to visit the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ in Johannesburg, on 11 June 2010 (Group A). The package includes match tickets, return flights and accommodation for two.

“The FIFA World Cup™ and our new ‘Final Draw Prediction Game,’ give Kia a great opportunity to connect with our customers in the context of the world’s most fantastic football competition,” commented Mr. Hyoung-Keun Lee, President Kia Motors Corporation.

The online competition goes ‘live’ today at the Kia Motors football microsite (fifa2010.kiamotors.com) and runs until 3 December. The site will be available in seven languages, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Korean. The game can also be accessed, in nine countries (UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, Chile and Australia), through MSN Messenger.
